Scoundrel’s Square is embedded in the dark fringes of a larger metropolis and occupies a bloody and contentious crossroads. At the intersection of two major thoroughfares lay two large and rambling buildings, the headquarters for the major guilds of the city occupied with all things skulduggery; be that thievery, blackmail, secrets, or murder. Formerly allied with one another, the schism that rent the guild in two has further divided the surrounding streets, alleys, and rooftops.
(1) The Shears: One of the two opposing guilds, the Shears were once half of the “Hammer and Shears Guild” with both sides of the intersection running a front business; in this case a leather working shop. The guild hall is dominated by rambling walkways, a multitude of narrow windows, and a single tall tower at the corner from which to survey the surrounding area. The guild and its members can always be identified by a teal coloration in their garb somewhere.
